Raglan Hills

Day 4. For the next week on Pixelbip I will be posting only nature photos. I’ve been nominated by Robert Chi to participate in the seven-day nature photography challenge. I need to post one photo a day for seven days and nominate one person each day to pass this along so we can flood Facebook with beautiful photos of nature.

Raglan hills is shot just outside of the Karioi Hostel in New Zealand. This was the first stop on the epic 28 day road trip I did earlier this year. Not only is there great surfing and hiking, but just down the road are glow worms that light up the forest in the night.

Just packing up in Bangalore now. Its been a miserable sick week here, but also a great place to have been sick. The temperature was much more moderate than in Hampi, for most of the time I had my own room, and I was in a quiet residential area instead of being in high traffic downtown area.

Currently getting ready for a flight to Jaipur where I will once again be staying with the Roadhouse crew. Looking forward to the new hostel and seeing old friends again. And by old friends I mean people I met just last month…

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
