Angkor Wat Pool

Angkor Wat Pool. My interpretation of one of the pools at Angkor Wat. The original is very much cold stone with no warmth at all. I imagined what it would look like with a very warm sunset and this is what I came up with. Also I discovered the Radial Gradient in Lightroom. Haha! new toys to play with.

I think this might be the start of making my own presets.

Image was processed into HDR using Aurora HDR Pro. Massive amounts of adjustments were done in Lightroom, and Photoshop. More that I want to actually get into detail. Just lots of stuff. And lots of experimentation on my part. So much fun.

This is very close to where the original Tomb Raider was shot. I am standing about 10 feet from where Angelina Jolie sat when the film was being made. Woohoo!

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
