Alhambra Dusk

Alhambra Dusk

I loved living in Granada. The winter weather in January is a lot warmer that most of Canada. Also the people are friendly, the beer is cheap, the sights are beautiful, and the tapas is free!! And then there is the ability to take nice shots like this one of the Alhambra at Dusk.

And speaking of the Alhambra the quality per tourist dollar is amazing. I think I paid about $14 USD for 5 hours to wander around. That included a smart phone with a guided tour that I could play or pause at my leisure. So much to see, and the changes in architecture throughout the centuries is really amazing.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
