Well looking at the settings for this camera I really should have had my ISO lower and brought down the shutter speed as well.

This is another shot from the first day I was in Auckland. This area is accessed through the Arataki Visitors Center just West of Auckland. A really great place for a some short hiking that is easily accessible.

I have been working hard on updating the Pixelbip website. In the next few days I will be using a new theme that looks way slicker, and hopefully does not have the same kind of formatting issues I have been experiencing. The big takeaway for the theme is that it is fully responsive and will show the images much better on mobile devices. Some more functionality will also be added over time including a Lightbox for better viewing of the images as well as new fancy things in the sidebar.

Image was processed using Aurora HDR Pro.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
