Beach Bar Ajnuna Beach

I went for a nice walk along the beach in Anjuna yesterday. I found it much more crowded and smaller than Calangute. Everyone says that Calangute is the more touristy beach but I found things to be a bit different. Maybe I just happened to get to Calangute during a slow couple of days. It seems that Anjuna has way more touristy things like jetskis, parasailing, speedboats, etc…  I found Calangute way more empty and spacious.

However Anjuna is definitely more of a party location. It seems every night there is a market, rave, or other party that I can attend if I feel like it. So far I have taken it pretty easy only hitting the markets and avoiding the raves. I’m not too much into the chemical experimentation these days thought the music is pretty damn good without any enhancemets.

This image is an HDR processed with Aurora HDR Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop. You cant really tell from the image, but I am actually standing on the beach with the water behind me. I realized after i shot it that the beach was not visible. Not too worried about it as I was trying to get the shade cover anyway.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at and writing about my experiences at
