Blue Lake

Day 2. For the next week on Pixelbip I will be posting only nature photos. I’ve been nominated by Robert Chi to participate in the seven-day nature photography challenge. I need to post one photo a day for seven days and nominate one person each day to pass this along so we can flood Facebook with beautiful photos of nature.

Yes, this post is a day late. I lay complete blame on the nasty bacterias having an unwanted party in my gut. I never invited them and am working hard at evicting them. However yesterday they rallied and kept me laid up in bed all day. Today I am fighting back with Norflox -TZ. So far all things seem good. I can eat again, and I spend the whole day exploring the city so it seems my energy levels are getting close to normal again.

It’s been a while since I was in New Zealand, but I’m pretty sure this place is called Blue Lake. It is an amazing blue lake which is fed by glacial waters hence making it super blue. And while it is really blue you should see how blue the rivers are that feed into it. It looks like someone has put blue dye in the water it’s so blue.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
