Bundi Update

So yesterday I accidentally posted two images on Pixelbip. To fix the problem I just changed the publish date of the Garh Palace Main Yard post to the 18th. Sorry for the changes. Normal posting will continue on the 19th. I’m including a bonus photo from Bundi looking up at the palace. 🙂

Travel update

I will be in Bundi for the next three days. The tentative plan is to get to Pushkar for the Holi festival on the 21st. However I am having a heck of a time booking a place to stay there. Pushkar is one of the top places for tourists to experience the Holi festival and places book up early. I have already had two places booked and then cancel on me. I am still waiting to hear from the third place. I used Airbnb for my last attempt.

If the Airbnb place falls through I’ll take that as a sign that I am just not meant to be in Pushkar for Holi. For my backup plan I am looking into Chandigarh in Punjab province. From what I can see Chandigarh looks to be a beautiful place to be. It has been called the happiest city in India. Its also been rated the cleanest city in India. After living here for the last couple of months I have completely changed my ideas of hygiene and what is acceptable level of grime, smell, and construction. I am looking forward to seeing what constitutes “cleanest” in India.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
