Chicago Reflections

Being back in the city again has inspired me to take photos of Chicago Reflections. This is one of the several images I shot and edited in the last few days. Wandering around downtown Chicago is a great place to find super interesting things to shoot.

This image is the Aqua Tower reflected in the windows of the Blue Cross Blue Shield building. It was shot on my FujiFilm X100T. Edited in Adobe’s Lightroom, Photoshop, and Macphun’s Aurora HDR Pro.

Still in Chicago for a few more days before I head off to Burning Man. I recently bought a new point and shoot camera which I hope will get me through the dust and conditions of BM. I’m still not posting regularly. I feel my time in North America has turned into a vacation from my travels, so I am spending a lot of time chilling out and visiting with friends. I’m also eating at all the places I have missed over the last 7 months of wandering around South East Asia and India.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
