Costa Rica Tree

Another of the HDR images I took while in Costa Rica in 2014. This tree was very close to the surf camp I stayed at. Not sure what kind of a tree it was but I made a guess that it might look cool in HDR. I used Photomatix Pro to combine three images that were exposed +- 2 stops.

And here is a shameless plug for the Witches Rock Surf Camp located in Tamarindo Costa Rica. Click on the previous link and go check them out. They are all inclusive which means that your surf lessons, rentals, accommodations, and breakfast is all included. AND if you do book a trip there then please use my name as a reference (Keir Briscoe). You will get an additional $50 off per person. In addition I will also get $50 the next time I book with them as well.

Anyway. If you go watch out for the stingrays. It really hurts when you step on them.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
