Dark Forest

Day 6. For the next week on Pixelbip I will be posting only nature photos. I’ve been nominated by Robert Chi to participate in the seven-day nature photography challenge. I need to post one photo a day for seven days and nominate one person each day to pass this along so we can flood Facebook with beautiful photos of nature.

Yup. Another late image. I know I complain about this lots, but the Wifi connections in India are the absolute worst. At least the worst I have come across so far. In two weeks I will be in Thailand and I will be able to compare those speeds.

The Dark Forest was taken in Victoria, BC on the edge of Mt. Doug Park in October of 2015. I really like the brooding feeling of the forest in this image.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
