Delta Queen Riverboat

Delta Queen Riverboat – HDR, ISO 6400, 35mm (equivalent), f/5.6, 1/600 sec, Fujifilm X100T, Handheld

Delta Queen Riverboat

Getting this one posted just before I head off to bed. This was shot on the Tennessee river down by the Walking Bridge. I believe the sign said the boat was going down river the next day so I’m glad I got it while I could.

I used Photomatix Pro to create the HDR out of three exposures. Saturation adjustments were done in Lightroom and detail clarity was adjusted in Macphun’s Intensity CK.

And speaking of Lightroom I have finally broken down and purchased the subscription to Lightroom and Photoshop CC. The basic subscription is only $9.99 US per month, but I was able to get a %20 off the first year deal from ProDesign Tools which is good up till Nov. 28, 2015. I am not in any way affiliated with ProDesign Tools but its a good deal so I want to pass it on.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
