Dog and His Boy

I have been playing a bit more with the MacPhun software I bought yesterday. With this image I used Tonality Pro to desaturate the image, then i used Intensify Pro to sharpen up just the tip of the dog’s nose. After doing that I made a few lighting adjustments in Lightroom and then exported.

One of the things I really liked about this photo was that the boy and the dog both have only their right eye showing.

You may begin to notice that I am posting more images with people in them. This is one of the things I have been trying to work on with my photography. For years I took photos of dancers. Honestly I kind of got burnt out on shooting dancers and not much else. For the last year I have been shooting whatever I feel like. However I still feel that photos with people are more interesting to me. I prefer to look at those kinds of photos too. So while I will continue to post photos of landscapes, architecture, and whatever, my current goal is to increase the quality and interest in the photos I take of people.
