Donkey was just standing there. I was walking towards the Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh. Which actually sounds a whole lot cooler than it actually turned out to be. There was a 600 Rupee charge to enter, and it is just a series of ruined buildings and little meditation huts. The place also bills itself as a tiger and elephant reserve, but there are no tigers or elephants present.

There is one little hut that is labeled as the Beatles Cave. But there is no way to confirm if this was indeed the location they were. The inside of the hut has a lot of trippy painting but that looks very recent.

Other than that I really don’t know too much about this Donkey. It was just standing there as I walked past. It took no notice of me and I was gone within seconds.

Image was processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. I have been doing a bunch more playing with layers in Photoshop. While I don’t think this is the best example of one of the photos I have done using layers it was still fun to work on and experiment.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world.
