A shot from Wellington in New Zealand. This is down by the water. Very touristy area. Then again most of New Zealand is touristy.

The shot was converted to black and white in Lightroom. I did a bit of work in Photoshop to burn in the details in the trailer. I liked how much reflection I was getting and the original image the reflection looked very washed out.

Been a pretty stressful couple of days here. I know I should be relaxing and enjoying my time in Chiang Mai, but I’ve been having issues with Fedex, WooThemes, and now even Lightroom and Photoshop have having a hiccup that I need to deal with.

In good news I now have a 35mm lens for my Sony. Im really looking forward to getting some shots with this lens. The plan is to get out tomorrow during the day and also try for some twilight and night shots. I do have some more good news. The files I had missing from my hard drive that crashed have now been restored! yay!

More good news is that my Sony sensor is now squeeky clean once again. I was having my doubts that would happen, but I found a great camera store here in Chiang Mai that did a bang up job.

Tonight I went to watch some Thai boxing, however as I got there I realized I did not change my batter after picking the camera up from getting cleaned. So, I got a few shots, but nothing that will show up on this blog.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
