Foul Bay Sunrise

This is the bay that Captain Vancouver first parked his boat when exploring the Victoria area. Originally it was marked on the charts as Foal Bay, but by the time the chart made it back to England there was water damage and so it was recorded as Foul Bay.

I’m not much of a morning person lately, but this particular morning I woke up super early because of a bad dream. I decided to take advantage of that and do some sunrise photo. This is the first image that I am posting from that morning. Over the next while I will be posting adding more to the feed.

Three images were combined using Photomatix Pro to create this image.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
