Goan Corner Front Yard

Goan Corner Front Yard. Ok, i’m going back to India for todays post. This was the rice field that surrounded the Goan Corner guesthouse I stayed at in Hampi, India. That was one of the most relaxing and fantastic weeks I spent in India. It was then followed by one of the most wretched and horrible weeks I spent suffering through the sickness I picked up on the last day there.

I completely forget how I even edited this image. It was so long ago and I have just had it in my Favorite Images folder in case of a day like this. I have been completely wrapped up in planning for my trip to Laos. Oh, and also I had an amazing two hour Thai Massage at Jindamanee. Followed by a meal of walking down the street and eating random food from the street vendors. BUT, I now have at least my first two nights in Vientiane covered. Still planning the rest of the month, but it’s looking like its going to be an excellent place to take photos and also a test of my abilities to get along with a very minimal Laotian vocabulary.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
