Goan Corner Sunset

The daily ritual in Hampi when staying at the Goan Corner is to climb the mound of large rocks located just in the front yard of the guesthouse. Its only a short 15 minute walk/climb to get to the top. Every night the sun sets differently, but this night it was particularly spectacular.

With the coming of March things are starting to warm up in India and its only a few short weeks till monsoon season starts. The great part is that means there are some clouds in the sky that makes the sunset look even more spectacular.

Today was another day spent swimming and hanging out, with some occasional photos taken. Tomorrow the plan is to settle how i’m going to spend my final month in India. So many options and so many things to do. Most definately I will have to make another trip to India in the future. The local market is also calling my name. I am so close to actually throwing away my favorite pair of jeans because I know that realistically I won’t need them for another 5 months or so.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
