Hampi Morning Ferry

Hampi Morning Ferry was shot this morning, and the intent was to have the post done tonight. However chances are good that I will be completely cut off from my Internet in about 6 minutes until tomorrow morning. So if this Pixelbip is late please excuse me. I will plan to post two images tomorrow to make up.

In the mornings when I wake up from sleeping under the stars I can hear music and singing coming from the area of the river where this image is shot. Unfortunately I have not yet been down to see whats going on. Im still waking up at around 6am, but I need a bite and some coffee before venturing out as far as the river. Tomorrow I should have a scooter and I may make a quick run to the river to check out the chanting and try to get some actual sunrise images.

Very much a change from the kind of days I was having in Anjuna. Hampi has been a nonstop adventure of hiking, rock climbing, swiming, sightseeing, and driving vehicles for insane amounts of time to travel very small distances.

This image was edited in Lightroom, Photoshop, and Macphuns Noiseless CK.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
