Hobbiton Lake

Hobbiton Lake. Going back to visit with the Hobbits on this photo. If I ever had the opportunity I would totally like to live in this nice little Hobbit town for a year or ten. Of course I would not want any of the tourists that come along with it. Not sure how the Hobbits put up with all the foreigners… I would love to go back and shoot some more images around sunset, but i’m doubt that will ever happen.

The edits on this image were done with Aurora HDR Pro, Lightroom, and a little bit of dodging and burning using Photoshop. Very simple edits on this image. I won’t go into details.

Tomorrow I am on the road again, and off to a new town and a new hostel. Not going to miss Pakse though, Well maybe the hotel i’m staying in. It’s a pretty nice one, the only complaint is the really crappy WiFi

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
