The only for leaving Don Det is by boat. It seems my normal way of travel is to wait for the last second on everything I do. I thought in off season that the morning boat would not be crowded at all. The island seemed deserted the night before. But when I got down to the boats they were all filled up. For a while I though I may have to stay an extra night but then the guy on the right started to put boards down as seats on the empty boat.
Don Det is one of the few places that I could see myself spending a large amount of time doing absolutely nothing at all but drink beer, smoke weed, and hang out. There is only one road and in some places that road becomes no more than a wide pathway. There are plenty of bars catering to the tourists, but Adam’s was my favorite for several reasons. They had a TV that played movies, they had a great hamburger, and the herbs were unique…

I processed this image over a month ago, and it been sitting in my “Interesting” folder since then. Tonight I threw it back into Photoshop, then Focus CK, then Noiseless CK to give it a little more pop. I also used my Wacom tablet for the first time in two months. I know I have been back in Thailand for over a week now. I finally dug it out of storage today. I think I will keep it with me going forward. It’s just so nice to be able to edit photos with a pen instead of a mouse pad.
