More Mirror Lake

More Mirror Lake. Today I have had a busy day avoiding the rain storms, and sleeping in really late. Various other things are also going on so I decided to just post another of the shots that I took at Mirror Lake in New Zealand.

Yesterday I had an amazing day hanging out at the Killing Caves, The Bat Cave, and Phnom Sampov where there is a local temple. And of course with a temple there are always a thousand or so steps to get to the top. I was also given bad directions to get to the killing caves so I ended up wandering around in the bushes down the side of the mountain. I think I have the honor of saying that I have hiked where no other tourist hiked.

This is another shot from New Zealand. The Mirror Lake is a really beautiful place, and I just wish I had more time to hang out there. It would also be great to be there at sunset to really get some good lighting. It I have one complaint with the kind of touristing I am doing is that without my own form of transport its really difficult to get to the nice areas to shoot near sunset. Also the more prominent landmarks all seem to close before 5:30 so it’s impossible to get access to these locations. i guess if I ever get any amount of success I will be able to get access to these places.

This image is edited like all the other ones I do. Same, Same, but different as they say here.

I have been working on getting more texture packages uploaded to my store. AND, I am finally working on putting together a collection of development presets for both Lightroom, and Aurora HDR Pro. Assuming anyone ever gets to my online store they will have the opportunity to buy some of the stuff I created.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at and writing about my experiences at
