Mumbai Commuter Train

Yes this train is moving. At no point did I see a Mumbai commuter train moving with the doors closed. Each and every door had people swelling out like this. Just casually standing on the edge. This is normal. No safeties, no automatic doors, nothing. And this kind of cavalier attitude is everywhere here. I really want to get some images while driving the scooter around town, but there is no way I would have a chance. Maybe if someone else were driving. The roads are even more chaotic than the trains!

Processed in Lightroom with a some textures layered in using Photoshop. I really need to work more with textures. They can change the total look and feel of an image.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
