New Lords and Ladies

The palace in Bundi is now home to tourists, rats, bats, but most of all to Monkeys.  This makes them the New Lords and Ladies of the Palace. I got a little nervous as I thought they may try to take the tripod and camera for themselves. They come and go as they please. Scaring the tourists, and stealing what they can from them as well. Just after I shot this one of these guys started walking over to where I had my tripod. I got a little nervous as I thought they may try to take the tripod and camera for themselves. Fortunately the monkey kept walking by. I quickly grabbed my gear and retreated to a safer distance.

The monkeys are everywhere in Bundi. But they are most noticeable in the mornings and the evenings. They seem to do a migration on the rooftops at the start and end of each day. I have no idea where they are going, but it does seem very regular.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
