O’Hare Airport at Thanksgiving

Yesterday I arrived in Chicago and when I got off the plane I came across this cool sight. I have to say that it’s not quite as dramatic as arriving at the Vancouver International Airport, but it’s still pretty amazing. Oh, also its only Thanksgiving when I arrived so I feel they have the X-mas decorations up a wee bit early.

I used Aurora HDR Pro to make this image. perspective was corrected using the auto perspective correction button in Lightroom. Yet another reason why I’m glad I updated to the latest version of Lightroom.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
