Paris Metro

Paris Metro

I wanted to find a photo of Paris that would instantly remind any viewer of Paris without posting a photo of the Eiffel Tower. Not that I have anything against Eiffel, it’s just so overdone. So I decided instead to do a Paris Metro post. These signs have an amazing and totally recognizable look so it’s always easy to find a train.

Paris is one of the places that everyone said I had to go. And they were right. What I was most impressed with is its sheer sense of size. Intersections are roundabouts and they are enormous. Going across the roundabout where of the Arch de Triumph is almost a 5 minute walk!

My time in Paris was short with only 5 days to explore and hang out. I definitely want to make it back and spend more time, hopefully when the weather is warmer.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
