Roof Top Units

Roof Top Units

A collection of rooftop units shot during an excursion to the top of a building while attending a party in Chicago. I really liked the complexity of the image with all the fine detail.

This image was edited in Aurora HDR Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop. I applied new techniques recently learned with luminosity masks. The great thing about photo editing is that there is always new techniques to learn. I’m looking forward to trying some of these techniques on photos from Burning Man.

Upcoming travel

Currently I am working on getting ready for my trip to Cuba. I’ve bought a new backpack along with many other minor changes to what I carry.

My new backpack is working out well. The extra 15 liters in the main pack along with another 15 liters in the daypack will go along way to storing more warm clothes for when I get to Europe next month.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
