This week is Bike Week in India. And it just happens to be only about 4 klicks from where I am staying in Anjuna. The plan was to spend a day hanging out and looking at the custom bikes at least one day this weekend. In contrast to the motorcycle events in the US the one here focuses on the small bike builders and is not dominated by the manufacturer booths.

Unfortunately its also super hot here as the winter fades and I am seeing temperatures around 35 Deg C. Im not too put off by that heat however there is also a lot of dust and I am making an attempt to shield my cameras from the worst of the elements. So I decided instead of attending the bike show I would spend lots of time at the beach, and the German Bakery enjoying the vast amount of shade and amazing food available. I am definately not complaining about the choice I have made on this.

This bike is owned by a guy who rode for 10 hours to get to Anjuna in order to attend the bike show. He is staying at the Roadhouse Hostel and that is where I shot this image.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
