Siem Reap Rooftops

Siem Reap Rooftops. Last night I was out on the balcony hanging out with people I have met in the Hostel here in Siem Reap. I decided to grab the camera and just try to check what the view looked like through my Sony sensor. End up it looks pretty freaking great.

Very little editing was done to this image. It is exposed 30 seconds. I reduced the highlights a bit and darkened the sky down as well. Then I did some noise removal and a small bit of vignette.

After everything I struggled with in Laos it makes Cambodia feel like a resort. Everyone here speaks english, they use American currency, and they drive on the Right side of the road. It almost feels too easy here, like it’s too good to be true.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
