Sihanoukville Another Sunset

Sihanoukville Another Sunset. It seems every time I need to get another shot I just walk down to the water’s edge and one is delivered to me. This was shot on my Moto G phone. Just sitting on the beach the other night. I’m still so impressed with the images that modern phones are capable of capturing. Sure I tweaked the hell out of it in Photoshop and Lightroom but as it was shot as jpeg format there was not as much room to tweak. Basically it just made things more difficult.

I’m finding it hard to fathom that in two days I will be leaving this amazing tropical paradise. My apartment in Chiang Mai is now on hold for me to move in on the 23rd. Very glad to have that bit of planning tied up. I am looking forward to getting back to Chiang Mai, but I am really going to miss being right beside the waters edge. Without a doubt I can see returning to Cambodia for more relaxation and natural beauty.

The last two days I have been having a blast playing with some older photos. This has been one of the most productive couple of days as far as editing that I have had in awhile. Feeling pretty good about that. I’m hoping I can keep that momentum going when I get back to Thailand.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
