Streets of Vadodara Part 2

Getting this posted just under the wire. I spent the last three days attending a wedding in Mumbai. That’s a six hour train ride in each direction. There was not a whole lot of internet available at the hotel where the wedding was. However there was a whole lot of food. Im still stuffed.

Well I prepared this image because I knew I would not have time to get a wedding image posted for today. I should have a wedding type photo for tomorrow though.

This was my first Indian wedding and it was so cool! I really like how laid back everything is. At least for guests like myself. And it’s great how guests get to crowd around for all the ceremonies. My favorite part was the night before the wedding. Thats when the real party happens. Lots of performances and dancing, and of course food.

Anyway. A bit about this photo. It was taken within seconds of the one posted yesterday. I was seriously just shooting into traffic and hoping that something worked. The sun had just set so there was enough ambient light that combined really well with the artificial light from the businesses behind me and the vehicles.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing.
