Suvarnabhumi Symetry

Yes I have been in Thailand for 3 nights now, and I still don’t have any new images to post! However I am now happily situated at the Old Car Guesthouse in Chiang Mai and the plan for tomorrow is to get out and shoot like crazy. So far Chiang Mai has been amazing. I feel so comfortable here, even in the super high heat. The people are all really nice, and the street food looks and smells amazing.

Today was spent renting a scooter, getting a SIM card, eating awesome food, and dropping the Sony off at a really nice camera store to get the sensor cleaned. I have my fingers crossed that they will do a good job. The store does not sell Sony gear so I hope they realize the camera has a floating sensor that needs to be stabilized before it can be cleaned.

This photo was taken from the departures area when I spent a night in Bangkok in January. I figured I should still post a photo from Thailand even though it’s not super current. The image is HDR, and was shot handheld on my Sony. I used Aurora HDR Pro to do the conversion, then cleaned things up in Lightroom and photoshop.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
