Twinkles Tidal Cave

Twinkles Tidal Cave – HDR, ISO 4000, 15mm, f/5.0, 1/400th second, Sony A7Rii, Handheld

Twinkles Tidal Cave

I don’t know what else to call this. It’s a tidal cave and it was Twinkles who told me about it. Twinkles is the bus driver for Stray. Well he was up till yesterday when he headed north again. On the 12th I will have a new driver. I hope they are good because they have to live up to the legacy of Slim and Twinkles.

This is an enormous tidal cave. I wish I had more than the 15 minutes we were allotted to explore and photograph it. I would love to return to explore different weather and lighting conditions. Maybe on my next trip around the world I can spend more time here.

More

I am currently in Queenstown. Cool small resort town. Oh, the huge amount of tourists. It reminds me of a miniature Whistler without the ski shops.

Tomorrow I am working in a huge upgrade to Pixelbip. I have a new theme. It’s not 100% at this point, but I will get it pretty close. Still working on details but it is a huge improvement over the current theme. I would really appreciate any feedback I can get on how you like it or any other functionality that you would want. Also I have a secret project happening that will make me really happy when its done. No spoilers at this point.

Processed with Aurora HDR Pro, and Lightroom.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
