Vancouver International Airport

Vancouver International Airport – HDR, ISO 2500, 21mm, f/7.1, 1/400th second, Sony A7Rii, Handheld

Vancouver International Airport

Vancouver International Airport has the best international arrivals area of any airport I have ever been to. While I did have to walk through what seemed to be a maze that lasted forever to reach this point I always like to walk through. It reminds me of where I grew up. Another cool thing besides the nice visuals is that there is a soundtrack of forest and bird sounds as you walk through this portal.

Processed with Aurora HDR Pro, and Lightroom. So glad that I had the Sony for this shot. The image stabilization really helps in low light situations.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
