Vancouver Science Museum

Vancouver Science Museum

I remember when this building was just another pavillion for the Expo 86 Vancouver world exposition. Do they even have them anymore? Unlike most of the pavillions which were sold this building is now the Vancouver Science Museum. A great place to spend a few hours with all the interactive sciency things on display.

Wandering around False Creek in Vancouver for the Golden and Blue hour on into the evening I found myself halfway across the Granville Island Bridge. This image is a 30 second exposure made with the help of a neutral density filter. Because the traffic shook the bridge I am glad this image turned out. I placed myself close to one of the support structures to minimize the vibration from the traffic. The wind being light allowed the water to come through with a nice soft blur. Motion can be seen in the boats moving in the water.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
