Wedding Bus Mumbai

Actually this is the wedding bus that took us away from the wedding and back to the train station in Mumbai. The bus that took us to the wedding was a bit more shabby than this one. Both was the traffic was nuts, but then that seems to be the norm here. I thought the traffic was challenging riding a scooter through traffic. I cant imagine driving a bus this large. There were several times where we missed buildings and other vehicles by only a few inches… Literally! I was thinking it would be a fun game to see who could touch the most vehicles in the next lane. Then I thought about hospitals, and surgery and thought better of it.

I originally processed this image just to show someone the general workflow I used when working on photos. At first I thought it was a bit too much, but then realized that the interior of the bus was pretty damn pimp so it was fitting for me to emphasize the pimpness. As usual I used Aurora HDR Pro for the HDR conversion and then Lightroom and Photoshop to finish off the little details. Details like removing Jai’s tongue so it was not sticking out.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
