Witch’s Rock Restaurant

In April 2014 I stayed at the Witch’s Rock Surf School/hotel/restaurant/bar/awesome place for 8 whole days. It’s a great place to learn how to surf, meet people, hang out, and the coolest things (for my friends in Chicago) is no time change from Central Time. Another great thing is that staying there for a whole week, with breakfasts included along with lessons and a room, only cost about $850. And if you give my name when booking you get another $50 off the regular price. How cool is that?

This image was hand held, well I actually held the camera up against a post to minimize vibration. I had to wait till the people were not moving very much. I used Photomatix Pro to combine the three exposures.

Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
