Chattanooga Trains – HDR, ISO 3200, 15mm, f/8.0, 1/60th Second, Sony A7Rii, Handheld
These trains are now hotel rooms and restaurants. I originally tried to do the HDR conversion using Aurora HDR Pro but was having an issue with exporting the images from Lightroom. I contacted Macphun and they let me know that version 1.1 will only open the raw images from my camera under El Capitan. I have been holding off on upgrading because I occasionally use a Wacom tablet to work on the images and have had driver issues when upgrading in the past. Until I upgrade I will use Adobe DNG Converter to import the images.
For this image I used Photomatix Pro to do the HDR conversion. I shot with a rather high ISO and the result was a lot of noise. I used Noiseless CK to get that under control. Lightroom was used for final touches.
This post is kind of magic. Because I am posting it on a day that won’t even happen to me. Everyone else will experience Dec 9th, but I will skip it and go straight to the 10th.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
