Georgia on my mind
I went for a walk down on the beach in Paihia today. I came across Georgia playing guitar. I asked if I could take her photo and she agreed. So here it is.
In this image I made everything look a whole lot more moody than things actually were. While there were clouds I have really made them a lot more ominous. I played with this image quite a bit. It is an HDR that I processed in Aurora HDR Pro. I sent it over to Photoshop a few times for layers and textures. I used Tonality CK to get the black and white conversion, and Focus CK to throw the edges out of focus. Instead of reducing the noise I actually added some grain in with Lightroom.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
