Giant Water Can
Created using Photomatix Pro and Macphun Intensify CK as well as Photoshop, and Lightroom. When I took the shot I intentionally put the sun behind the spout of the water can to give it a halo like glow. This shot was taken while waiting for the Scott Kelby World Photo Walk to take place on Oct 3 2015. I didn’t expect much out of the day, but ended up having a lot of fun and meeting some really cool people.
**Really big news today.** Macphun released new software created in collaboration with Trey Ratcliff from Stuck In Customs called Aurora HDR. Check out the video by Trey to learn more about this new software. From what I can see it has the look and feel of the other Macphun software I have used like Tonality or Intensify. It’s being billed as a replacement for Lightroom and Photoshop and does HDR creation just like Photomatix Pro. I am planning on getting a copy of the software on Nov 18th so I will be doing a full review on the software soon after. The Aurora software has been created for the Mac OS only. I guess there is a reason why they call the company Macphun!
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
