Grassy Sunset – HDR Image, ISO 50, 16mm, f/10, 1/4 sec. Canon 5DM3, Tripod
Yet another sunset shot taken from Mt. Tolmie in Victoria. I dropped the tripod to its lowest setting for this one so that I could get some of the tall grass into the frame to add more depth to the image.
Typical processing with Photomatix Pro. Cant really remember what other software I used, but some Lightroom for sure. Maybe even some Photoshop.
Wish I could say more about this image. I did have to race the sunset to make it this location on time. I had already shot the sunset on the beach, but I sped my way up to the top of Mt. Tolmie so that I could get a second sunset.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
