Parliament Buildings – HDDR Image, ISO 100, 35mm (equivalent), f/5.6, 0.8 sec, Fujifilm X100T, Tripod
Another shot of the Parliament Buildings. This one taken from the outside. When this building was first completed it was considered one of the finest examples of architecture in all the British Empire. It actually is a really cool building. And no the Queen does not live there when she comes to visit.
This shot is a combination of 5 bracketed shots combined using Photomatix Pro. Lightroom was used to do final edits to the image.
You may notice that the metadata is now showing at the bottom of each post as well as in its normal location under the image. This is because I installed a plugin that automatically pulls the metadata from the image and puts it at the bottom of each post. I really would rather it didn’t put the data there, but at this time I have no choice. The goal is to get the metadata to show up when you hover over the image. I still need to learn a bit more PHP before I can make that happen however. So in the interim the data will show up redundantly because I think it’s so cool that it happens automagically.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
