Sunday Morning – ISO 250, 10mm f/9, 1/320 sec, Sony A7Rii, Handheld
So technically this photo was taken on Sunday afternoon. But only wake up around noon these days so it was morning for me. And I like the sound of Sunday Morning better. The location this was shot is Cattle Point. A great place to go for a walk.
This is another image taken using the amazing Sony A7rii. I used Macphun Tonality CK to do the black and white conversion for this image. However I also liked the original colour image so I am going to post that below. The colour image was edited using only Lightroom.
Another really cool thing about this image is that it was taken using the Sony 10-18mm lens. This lens shoot so freaking wide its unbelievable. Well I guess it’s believable because I can actually see the results. The lens is designed for the Sony crop sensor cameras, but it seems to work just fine on this full frame camera. There may be some situations where it will vignette, but I have not found those situations yet.
Here is the colour version of the image.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
