Zharas Balcony – HDR, ISO 250, 15mm, f/7.1, 30 seconds, Sony A7Rii, Tripod
This is now my second night in Vancouver. So far the weather has been overcast and rain, along with clouds and drizzle, or mist, or spit, or whatever. Fortunately the moisture stopped moisting for long enough to take some photos.
This shot is taken from the West End looking towards Stanley Park. I am on the 11th floor. There was also some moisture falling from the sky when this was taken but the balcony above allowed me to still shoot this.
The image was edited using Lightroom and Macphun’s Intensify CK. Photoshop was used to remove some lens flare and spots on the lens.
Growing up one of my biggest dreams was to explore the world. Honestly I never thought this would become reality. But at the end of 2014 I quit my job as a project manager to do just that. I sold most everything I own, packed up the remaining boxes in storage, and set out to see the world. My goals while traveling are to meet people everywhere I go, work on becoming a better photographer, and attempt to stay where the weather is not freezing. Along the way I am posting photos at Pixelbip.com and writing about my experiences at EarthToKeir.com
